Suited connectors

In poker, suited connectors are pocket cards that are suited and consecutive, for example Q♥ J♥ or 6♦️ 5♦️. When combined with the community cards, they have a higher potential to make flushes and straights and this is why they are considered stronger than average.

Additionally, suited connectors are more difficult to read and can be used to exploit opponents

That said, they are weaker than premium hands, such as high poker pairs and can be difficult to play out of position.  Their value may vary depending on where you are sitting at the table, stack size and type of poker game you are playing.
